The Museum traces the development of the Cowal peninsula from prehistoric times to the present day. Notable are a fine Neolithic pot and an outstanding collection of Clyde steamer models. Four rooms recreate the Victoria lifestyle of Dunoon residents. A video shows local views and events. There is well-stocked shop, which sells souvenirs and postcards.
