Clachan Primary School is situated in the little village of Clachan, which is adjacent to the main Campbeltown – Glasgow road, 11 miles south-west of Tarbert and 28 miles north of Campbeltown. In this rural setting, the school is not considered as a separate entity, but as an integral part of a thriving and active community.
Boys and girls of all denominations are welcome to enrol here where the stages primary 1 to primary 7 are taught and can be catered for in a well equipped, modern building.
We are an Eco school and have achieved 2 Green flags, we also practice teaching that goes beyond the four walls of the school.
HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) inspects and reports on the quality of education in pre-school centres, primary schools, secondary schools, special schools, community learning and development services, colleges, and residential educational provision.
You can read and download any inspection reports for this school, and find out more about the inspection process, on the HM Inspectorate of Education website.
Follow Through Inspections are carried out at schools where areas for improvement have been identified in the original inspection, and if any follow through reports have been produced for this school, they will be available for you to read and download below.
