ESIN-IIEP Project
INTERREG IIIC is intended to improve the effectiveness of policies and instruments relating to regional development, mainly through the large-scale exchange of information and experience. Public sector organisations are able to participate in three different forms of operations namely Regional Framework Operations RFO’s, individual co-operation projects and network projects. The programme is managed by the Programme Secretariat in Lylle the details of which can be found on the web site below

ESIN-IIEP Project

Argyll and Bute Council is a partner in the recently approved ESIN-IIEP Project, which is a network of European Small Islands, led by the Irish islands. The aim of the project is to share experiences on the sustainable development of small islands and to ensure the needs and views of these communities are taken into account in formulating and implementing regional policies.
