Europe

The Council's European Function provides information and guidance on the availability of European Funding for project and programme development. It also monitors European Policy, assessing the impact of that policy on Council activities. This is done in partnership with a range of public sector bodies throughout the Highlands and Islands, the West of Scotland, and Europe.

The Council has a number of Twinning links, throughout the area. These are operated on an area basis by the Area Corporate Services Managers.
