Oban Airport
Oban Airport is situated to the North of the village of North Connel six miles from Oban town centre. In April 2006 work began to re-develop the Airport in preparation for Public Service Obligation (PSO) routes to the islands of Coll and Colonsay. Highland Airways were succesful in tendering for the (PSO) contract and the first scheduled air service began in June 2008.
Oban Airport is open 7 days a week and has a new 1263m tarmac runway (01-19). Landings are strictly by prior arrangement requests can be made by telephoning 01631 710910
Colonsay Aerodrome
Colonsay Aerodrome is situated approximately three miles west of Scalasaig. The runway (11/29) is of tarmac construction and is 500m in length. There are no fuel or hangar facilities available on Colonsay, landings are only permitted outwith the times of the scheduled air services and are strictly by prior arrangement which can be requested by telephoning 01631 710910
Coll Aerodrome
Coll Aerodrome is situated approximately four miles South West of Arinagour. The runway (02/20) is of tarmac construction and is 500m in length. There are no fuel or hangar facilities available on Coll, landings are only permitted outwith the times of the scheduled air services and are strictly by prior arrangement which can be requested by telephoning 01631 710910
Glenforsa Airfield
The 780m grass runway allows landing strictly by prior arrangement which can be arranged by contacting David Howitt 01680 300 402 or 07799 744 908. If unable to contact Glenforsa direct requests can be made via Oban Airport by telephoning 01631 710910. There are no fuel or hanger facilities available at Glenforsa.
