Leisure and recreational facilities are available for the community throughout Argyll and Bute with Council run Leisure Centres in Helensburgh, Dunoon, Rothesay, Campbeltown and Lochgilphead.  
Atlantis Leisure  in Oban, Mid Argyll Swimming Pool in Lochgilphead and MacTaggart Leisure Centre in Islay are independently run facilities.

The ABC Leisure Club has a wide range of fitness and Sports facilities across Argyll and Bute, which include the use of our swimming pools, health suites and state of the art gym areas. The Club also provides a ‘pay as you go’ option to meet every budget.Two excellent cafes are also on offer, these can be found within the Aqualibrium (Bistro) and the Riverside. Both of these have Eat Safe Awards and have been given Healthy Eating Awards due to their menu choices.

ABC Learn to Swim Programme
Want to learn how to swim? If so why not book you or your child into our nationally recognised learn to swim programme in partnership with Scottish Swimming. 10 Lesson blocks cost £36 per child and can be booked directly at your local leisure facility. Fitness Classes
We have several fitness classes on offer at venues throughout Argyll including kettle bells, Aqua Fit, spinning and the very popular Zumba.
If you have issues with your health or need to lose weight then the argyllactive exercise referral scheme will help you achieve your fitness goals!
Our REP fitness professionals are now able to provide personal training sessions to gym users who would like to achieve specific goals.
Sporting activities are also held within our Halls and these can be booked out for events such as conferences and parties.

Other Activities

Stramash

Stramash runs courses and events for children, adults and groups, and have a variety of exciting activities to offer, such as climbing, canoeing, bushcraft and many more. You can find out details of what they have on offer on their website, including their school holiday activity programmes.
