Adult Literacy and Numeracy
Adult Learning | Adult Literacy | HomeLink | Youth Services
To get on with our everyday lives we all need to read, write and use numbers. Adult Literacy and Numeracy offers free learning opportunities for anyone who wants to upgrade their skills. A national survey showed that many people needed support with their literacy and numeracy skills from time to time. There are many reasons for this, for example you might want to:
- Get a job;
- Help children with their homework;
- Get into learning.
Learning takes place all over Argyll and Bute and is tailored to your needs. It may be in a small group or on your own with a tutor, at a time that suits you. You can start at any time of the year. We are part of the Big Plus and our work comes under a national Strategy.
