If you live in Tarbert, your green wheelie bin for general household waste is collected every week, and a fortnightly recycling collection is provided by Kintyre Recycling, in the form of 2 clear bags for "wet" and "dry" recyclable products.  For more information on what you can put in each bag, please see below.

Clear Bags for "Wet" and "Dry" Recycling

Kintyre Recycling Ltd provide a fortnightly recycling collection for Tarbert, using a two bag system.

What can you put in each bag?

"Dry" materials, such as paper, cardboard, magazines, books and textiles (e.g. clothes, shoes, soft toys, and bags) can be recycled in one bag.

"Wet" materials, such as food cans, drinks cans, aerosol cans and all plastic bottles can be recycled in the other bag.

What can't you put in the recycling bags?

Please do not put the following items in your recycling bags -

Window envelopes, tissue paper, paper food and drink cartons e.g. Tetra Pak, Glass bottles and jars, plastic bags.
