Please could you rinse all food and drink cans, cartons and plastic bottles before recycling.
What can you put in your food waste bin?
Meat and fish, including bones, fruit and vegetables, dairy products including eggs and cheese, bread, cakes and pastries, beans, pasta and rice, tea bags and coffee grounds. You can now also include used kitchen roll and paper with food residues on it.
We will be giving out approximately 6 months supply of food waste bags to each household participating in the food waste scheme. After 6 months, we will give out another supply.
